E-commerce QC Production Coordinator

E-commerce QC Production Coordinator (London)

Spring Studios is seeking experienced QC (Quality Control) Production Coordinators to ensure creative consistency and quality for a large e-commerce account. This role is crucial to maintaining our high standards and ensuring smooth production processes.

Job Responsibilties
  • Matrix Management: Maintain and update the matrix to ensure all teams, both onshore and offshore, have access to the latest version.

  • Briefing Teams: Ensure on-set teams are fully briefed on any updates or changes to briefs and the matrix.

  • Shoot Preparation: Create folders for daily shoots with accurate and up-to-date lists.

  • Quality Control: Review shoots for file naming accuracy, alignment with the current matrix, and adherence to style guides to maintain excellent quality standards.

  • Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships with both in-house and freelance on-set teams.

  • Issue Resolution: Identify and communicate corrections to studio teams, ensuring timely resolutions to meet retouch deadlines.

  • Workflow Development: Collaborate with production teams to enhance workflows and suggest process improvements with a proactive attitude.

  • Image Quality: Work closely with the retouch team to ensure high-quality images and address queries from retouch and production teams.

  • Client Relationship Management: Ensure shoot lists are accurate, properly formatted, and sent to clients ahead of shoots.

  • Reporting: Provide internal daily reports, updating teams on the progress of sets and outputs.

  • Ad Hoc Support: Assist the retouch team with client requests, including locating imagery, conducting site walks, and other tasks as needed.

  • Sample Management: Collaborate with sample management to ensure all samples are correct and accounted for during shoots.

  • Production Support: Partner with production teams to ensure seamless shoot operations.

  • File Backup: Ensure all jobs are completed according to briefs and backed up on the server.



    Required Experience and Skills

    • Prior experience in studio production is preferred.

    • Strong proficiency in Capture One Pro, Photoshop, and Bridge.

    • Basic retouching skills and understanding of retouch processes.

    • Exceptional organisational skills and time management abilities.

    • Experience working in fast-paced environments and demonstrating initiative.

    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure within a dynamic team.
