Sustainability Manifesto
At Spring, we believe in open communication about our sustainability practices. For us, sustainability means finding ways to meet the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.[1]
Although we are at the start of this journey, we are committed to regularly sharing our progress and challenges with our staff, clients, suppliers, collaborators and the communities we are part of.
Spring is committed to promoting sustainable practices globally across our productions and events.
We strongly believe that sustainability does not limit creativity but rather encourages us to explore new innovative solutions to client briefs, that empower communities and reduce our impact on the environment, while still meeting the needs of our business partners.
We foster a healthy, supportive workplace where mental health, diversity, and work-life balance are prioritized.
This manifesto is a declaration of our commitment to foster sustainable practices and inspire positive changes in our industry.
OUR FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES
Consciousness
Understanding the profound impact our actions have on the planet is essential not only for our current operations but also for future generations.
This awareness is the backbone of our sustainability initiatives.
We are currently developing a training program for all our team members about the ecological and social implications of our activities.
Additionally, we actively seek to attract and retain new talents who share our vision and are ready to boost these values. By raising awareness about the importance of sustainable practices, we aim to promote collective accountability and a proactive attitude towards environmental responsibility across all levels of our organization.
Creative Vision
We strive to integrate sustainable practices seamlessly across all our creative concepts and productions. This involves selecting biodegradable and recyclable materials, continuously updating and using energy-efficient technologies where possible, and increasingly designing with a lifecycle perspective.
Within our practice, we strive to demonstrate that creativity and sustainability are not mutually exclusive but can coexist harmoniously, leading to innovative and impactful productions that set a new standard in the industry.
Tracking
To effectively manage our environmental impact, we have started to work on the measurement of the carbon footprint of our productions and events.
This data-driven approach allows us to identify key areas for improvement and implement targeted strategies to reduce emissions where possible and offset where necessary.
We continuously monitor our practices, gather feedback, and conduct detailed analyses to ensure ongoing improvement. This iterative process helps us to adapt to new challenges and opportunities, maintaining a dynamic and progressive stance on sustainability.
We cannot do this alone. We invite our clients, partners and community to collaborate with us in shaping a sustainable future – one project, one idea, one step at a time.
