Ecommerce Studio Manager (London)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Studio Manager to join our team, primarily supporting the M&S account. This role is perfect for someone who has experience in photography as a photographer or a photographer’s assistant. Someone who is equally keen to manage a studio with great attention to detail and to be part of a dynamic team.

Job responsibilities

Studio Management: Ensuring the studio spaces are always organised, tidy and the photographic team have everything they need. This could include, setting up of tressle tables, moving rails.
Photographic Guides: Keeping the photographic guides for each of the brands up to date.
Photographers Assistant: Be ready to help adjust the lights.
Studio references: Each day various creative references are required on set. Manage the printing and pinning of these.
Lighting: Working closely with Spring Lighting team to ensure the correct equipment is on set. Quality Control (QC) of the lighting set up each morning at 8am. Ensuring any spare kit is returned to lighting.
Rentals equipment order: Responsible for sending the daily email and brief to Spring Lighting with all equipment needed on set for the following day.
Photographer – ensuring the photographer has all the kit they need for the shoot.
Coffees and lunch order – support Production team with offering coffees and managing the lunch order with the bar and the team, when required.
Pre-Shoot Organization : Ensure the studio is shoot ready before the team arrives at 8am.
Post-Shoot Organization: Ensure the studio is ready for the shoot the following day.
Prop management: Assist with the arrangement of props. Moving props (mainly chairs) around the building to the correct set. Package props up ready for return and take to entrance.
Team Building: Foster positive relationships with the photographers and on-set teams.
Support Sample Team: Assist sample coordinators in managing the flow of rails to and from sample management when required.
Support Production Team: Support production team and collaborate with styling team to ensure all studio spaces are prepped and ready the day before the shoot
